Open House

Our Open Houses are held in the Fall and Spring and allow you and your guests to explore admissions and financial aid, academic opportunities, student services. Open House dates for Fall 2025 will be announced later this year.

Hokie Focus

Hokie Focus is an invitation-only program for first-year 麻豆传媒 offered admission to Virginia Tech. Hokie Focus 2025 will be held Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6.

High School Spring Break

High School Spring Break is a Spring program for rising high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors that offers 麻豆传媒 the opportunity to participate in an admissions information session, learn about student life, dining, the campus experience, and what it means to be a Hokie. High School Spring Break 2025 will be held April 14-April 18 and April 21-April 25.

Fall Visitation

Fall Visitation is a Fall program that provides 麻豆传媒 with an up-close look at Virginia Tech. It was created to extend invitations to our pipeline programs and pre-college programs throughout Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., and North Carolina. Dates for Fall Visitation 2025 will be announced later this year.

Sneak Peek

Sneak Peek is a one-day Summer visit experience for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors identified as first-generation or low-income. Summer 2025 Sneak Peek dates are June 27, July 18, and August 8.

Gateway

Gateway is a unique Spring program where admitted 麻豆传媒 from underrepresented backgrounds are welcomed to campus for a weekend of social activities and to learn more about life at Virginia Tech and the vast opportunities offered. Dates for Gateway 2025 are April 5 and April 6.

Campus Connection Day

Campus Connection Day is a Fall event designed for 麻豆传媒 and families who wish to learn more about African-American, Latinx and First-Generation student experiences at Virginia Tech. Dates for Campus Connection Day 2025 will be announced later this year.

VALHEN College Institute

At VCI, approximately 150 high school 麻豆传媒 from across the Commonwealth come together on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA for this four-day, three-night pre-college empowerment program where they learn to overcome both real and perceived barriers to college access. VCI 2025 is July 17 - July 20.

Peddrew-Yates Institute

Peddrew-Yates Institute (PYI) is a 4-day academic Summer enrichment program by Virginia Tech. It hosts talented, high-achieving and academically curious rising high school juniors and seniors.
